# Dr. Kristofer J. Jones

> Dr. Kristofer J. Jones is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports-related musculoskeletal injuries of the knee, shoulder, and elbow.

Dr. Jones obtained his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania and completed his orthopedic residency training at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in New York City. He pursued further expertise in shoulder and cartilage surgery through a traveling fellowship in Europe and another fellowship in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at HSS. He serves as Head Team Physician and Director of Orthopaedic Surgery for the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA) and a Team Physician for the UCLA Bruins.

He is accomplished in clinical and laboratory research, authoring over 100 scientific manuscripts and textbook chapters. Dr. Jones holds memberships and committee positions in various professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) and the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM).
